Email Loop on ... MAILER-DAEMON@mail.domain.co.uk
If a mailbox receives a bounceback or error message from MAILER-DAEMON@mail.domain.co.uk and replies to it, the reply seems to get stuck in an infinite loop.
A client did this yesterday and for 24 hours its been sending back and forward, over 14,000 log entries.

repo owner Do you know what message it contains? These mails are in loop with other mailserver or inside only?
(bounces per RFC are sent with "<>" as return address at envelope, so there should not be any loop at all)
-
reporter I am going to dig through the logs in more detail and post back. The message was a test I sent after noticing the issue, it was simply a reply from outlook on the delivery failure message which had 'test' written in it.
-
reporter I am going to close this while I upgrade to the latest version with the new mail queue feature and see if it re-occurs.
