Using webmail with a different domain

I created a CNAME record like mail.somedomain.com => mail.myposteioserver.com and wanted to reach webmail via mail.somedomain.com/webmail/ But this request causing an infinite redirect loop to itself. Is this a bug or should I do something to prevent this?
