Does anyone know what this does? Our server is using a lot of memory and looking at ways to reduce the load.

Does this clear data that is required? or is it just stats?

I couldn’t find anything in the documentation

Took a backup and run it and it appears like it was just cache. Mail server now using 7GB less ram and about 150GB less data read/write ops per hour! It looks like it wasn't clearing older cached items.
