Reboot Loop
Hey There,
On pulling the latest version of Poste Pro, 2.3.4, my container was stuck in a reboot loop. It would do this randomly throughout the startup script. What else do you need from me to assist?
Container logs:
[!] WARNING: User-initiated shutdown.
[cont-finish.d] executing container finish scripts...
[cont-finish.d] done.
[s6-finish] syncing disks.
[s6-finish] sending all processes the TERM signal.
[s6-finish] sending all processes the KILL signal and exiting.

repo owner Hello,
how are you running container? Are you using some kind of scripts? I am curious because this line “[!] WARNING: User-initiated shutdown.”

reporter Hey SH,
No sir, we are using Docker + Swarm. During the boot process as we deploy using the Docker Stack Deploy (Portainer) it would randomly do that.
My thought was maybe something was cached in Redis. I deleted the Redis dump from the volume. Still had the issue.I then rolled back to 2.3.1, and it worked. I could try and re-update now that it’s running?
The cause of the restart was a host update from Debian 10 to 11, so something may have gotten lost in the mix. Only thing is, wouldn’t it do the same thing on version 2.3.1 and 2.3.4 in this case? That was my thought.

When rolling back to version 2.3.1 it worked. I didn’t try version 2.3.2 or 2.3.3.
