First at all, i'm using analogic/poste.io:1-free, but issue is also in 1.0-beta-3-free.
As soon as I send an email to a gmail-account, i'll receive an email like following:
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at mail.example.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.
<log@mail.example.com>:
Sorry, I couldn't find any host named mail.example.com. (#5.1.2)
The logs show this strange line:
Jul 14 14:15:26 ff4cbae199d5 mail.info qmail-send: starting delivery 1: msg 1049725 to remote log@mail.example.com
The receiver gets the email, but i also get the mail above. If i switch sides and send from gmail, the gmail account gets this mail.
Steps to reproduce:
- Start container
- Log in to admin-interface
- Set-up
- Log in to user-interface
- Send mail
Any idea why this mail is triggered in the first place? Also could that be related to fresh DNS settings?

David, after the installation, you have to restart the container. Then everything works as expected.

Is it included in 1.0-beta-4-free? If yes, i'lt test it on the weekend.

If I comment "bounce_email" and "alerts_email" in server.ini and restart the container, the mail is not sent... Strange thing is: Behavior persists, if i revert this changes and restart the container?!
