VPS host adds new space, how to use this space

Hi!
The available space of my vps host is shrinking, so I added a new volume and mounted it to the current host, how should I operate to use this new space smoothly.

Keep it simple and stupid. Just stop container, copy data to new volume and start container with new path. Disk space is cheap and there is no need to overthink.
