What is the proper way to use Ancile?

Thanks so much for this tremendous application. I am just wondering what the proper sequence is for using Ancile? Do I download and install updates first and then let Ancile uninstall the invasive ones or run Ancile before shown updates are installed? Thanks.

Install Windows Updates > run Ancile. If Ancile stops running in the black window at "Cleaning log files" press "Y"

thanks for your reply. Yes, I noticed that on occasion I need to do that when it stalls on "cleaning log files". So just to be clear, if I get a Windows Update notification, I should go ahead and install them and then run Ancile after the update install, is that correct?

yes. is your Windows in english or some other language?

"cleaning log files" is a known issue and might be language bound, since me and 1 other user have german Windows and one other user has i think italian, and Matthew (the dev) can't replicate it on the english version.
