Bug with 'Save State' and current 'Create Menu Pulldown'?

there seems to be a bug when saving the state of the 'Create Menu Pulldown' in the current version available on Food4Rhino vs that contained in the Examples (Save and Restore State.gh)

The latter works, but the former generates an error in the Save State component. In the attached screenshots i show the old and new Create Menu Pulldown components feeding a list of layer names from the Layer Table component into the Save State component.
