Free trial and Atlassian credentials

Hello, I am evaluating this plugin currently. Once the plugin is installed, I hit the "Free Trial" button, which asks me for Atlassian email and password. Typed in the known one I have and kept being rejected.

Questions: 1. Are my creds being sent elsewhere safe outside of Atlassian eco system? 2. How can I continue? Thanks H
