Input Constant Heat values calculated are total not flux, but unit suggests it's flux

Hi Angus,

I was just checking bottom boundary conditions in the Kerinchi model by using TIM by selecting the "Input Constant Heat" variable across the bottom boundary.

The plot in TIM suggests variable heat fluxes but I'm not sure whether they are in fact constant across the boundary.

The units in the colorbar are Joule/meter^2/second, which suggests that it is showing heat flux (per unit area). But based on the input file it looks to me like TIM is actually plotting the total heat input into each boundary block. This would have the units of Joule/second.

Is that correct and the unit TIM shows needs correcting?

Cheers, Elvar

Either I should change unit, or change the code, it’s probably more useful to show per area
