allow editing status entries from any screen

Currently status update posts can only be edited from /home but it would actually be nice to be able to edit them from any screen.

Maybe different topic, but as I see it, /home is basically Time view. Then we have the project view and user views - largely different sortings of the same information. It might be good to think about how to unify these 3 views into a single-page per week or month. Yes, this paragraph should be in a separate issue: we can discuss more.
