Localized frame rate drop in Red Forest.

Something in the area of Forester's building in the Red Forest is causing my frame rate to plunge into the 30's and 40's. I get a steady 60 fps everywhere else, but when I enter this area my frame rate drops and my GTX 1080 heats up like Death Valley.

As soon as I leave the area everything returns to normal, and I can reproduce the issue by going back to the area again. Weather conditions and time of day don't seem to matter. One time, reloading a quick save in that area caused my frame rate to drop to 7 and stay there. I had to go back to a previous save away from there to recover.
