Explosive items do not explode

Items which should explode when shot, such as the blue cannister weapon, do not explode. In the attached save game there is one of these items in front of the player and it will not explode no matter how many times it is shot. Edited to add: objects in the world still explode as normal, but anything taken into and dropped out of the player inventory, such as fuel cans, will not explode.
