Great swamp ecologist mission bug

Anomaly 1.5.0 hotfix installed, directly after a new clear sky playthru I am leading an ecologist in the swamp to do anomaly research. While leading the ecologist we were both attacked by snorks and the ecologist took some damage, and when we reached the anomaly field close by and i hit the marker which begins his scanning, he decides to start shooting me blatantly for no reason. I loaded the save a couple times and tried seeing if he did it again and he did. I loaded up another previous save and completed the mission without him taking any damage from the snorks, and he went into the anomaly field and started scanning without a problem. The first save is after i killed the snorks and the ecologist got hit and starts shooting at me when i hit the mission marker, the second save is a tiny bit earlier than the first. and the 3rd save is right before the snork encounter.
