Issue #12 resolved

4.3.1 fails to install properly with pip

Anonymous created an issue

I am not sure it is a bug in cx_freeze but I have never had any problem with other packages. I use Ubuntu 12.10 (I have both 32b & 64b versions and the problem seem present with both)

The warning has been fixed (about no files named *.html in doc) but the error is due to a bug in pip -- if the package is not required to be installed as an egg then the error occurs because pip assumes the use of setuptools rather than distutils
