Child pages inheriting labels from parents

The only issue I have found with my trial of the Labeler add-on is the way that child pages are set up to inherit any labels applied to parent pages. I propose this would function better as a setting that can be turned on or off, preferably depending on how each space would best be used, but a global on/off setting would also be very useful.
I agree, there should be a way to turn this setting on or off.
When needed, it is nice to have, but it is not always needed, and then you have to remove the tags from all child pages manually.
