default scheduled Issues in every project

Hi

is there a way for creating some scheduled issue automatically in every project that has been opened in JIRA. For example: every Project Manager has to fill out a Project Status issue once a month. I don't want to configure this in every Project manually.

Hi,

Unfortunately The Scheduler currently don't support this type of operation. For now I can only recommend you to try using clone function on previous Scheduled Issue. Sadly, it won't automate your process, but at least you will have all required fields filled with data from you previous Scheduled Issue, so you only need to change project type in newly cloned item.

But your case is quite interesting. We will consider to add REST API in future , so you could be able to automatically create new Scheduled Issues from outside of The Scheduler plugin (eg. create script for periodically checking JIRA for new projects and calling The Scheduler REST function to create new Scheduled Issues).
