Ability to set service desk request type set on creation

We are using Jira Service Desk and have the need to create certain tasks monthly and the scheduler allows us to do this but there is no ability to set the request type as the issue is not created directly via the portal. We would like to be able to set the request type field on creation.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the suggestion. Indeed, there is no possibility to set Request Type while creating issue in JIRA (not from the customer portal), so The Scheduler doesn't allow it, too. We will consider adding the Request Type support to our plugin in the future versions of The Scheduler.

    It's been a while but now it is finally ready.

    As long as you have Jira Service Desk > 3.7.0 and you have "Request type" field on "Create Issue Screen" you can set it up using The Scheduler 5.0.10.

    Please update app and give it a try.

    I'm using Service Desak cloud (so assume latest version) but only see v2.0.7-AC of the Scheduler

    I don't see Request Type as an option when editing scheduled tasks. Is it an issue if Request Type is "hidden" as these are hidden so they default to correct value?
