Issue Type field not working

Issue #144 closed
Former user created an issue

When creating a new scheduled issue, it defaults to one project which contains only 1 issue type. When I change the project, the issue type field does not update and I am not able to assign the correct issue type or move to the next screen, because the only available issue type is invalid.

Even when I try to create an issue with the given project/issue type, it does not accept my clicks in the issue type field and will not move to the next screen.

Hi Andrew, To define a problem we need to know which version of JIRA and The Scheduler Plugin are you using. Please let us know. Best regards, Maciej

Hi, Andrew we have checked your issue.

From Scheduler within current project ex. 143, you can not switch to another procjec ex. 144 - this option is disabled. Therefore the issue type fileds should be those avaliable only for the current project.

On the other hand in your admin area for the plugin you can manage all Scheduled issues, and there your should be able switch between projects and issue types should be updated.

    Please see attached screenshots.

If this doesn't solve your problem, please: - explain what type of issues you are using - are those custom made? - what are the settings your are picking ? Also please send us the log file, for further investigation. Our email is support.atlassian@tt.com.pl Information how to find log file: https://confluence.atlassian.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=213526227

I cannot get past the "Set Basic Info" Page. We are using all custom issue types

    The pictures are as follows:

The first picture is what first appears on the Add-On. This is correct, as in this project there is only the Resource Request Type. However, I cannot even choose this issue type and create a new issue. Every time I click on the issue type, it just makes the box disappear.

The second and third pictures show that when we change project, the issue types do not update, and neither of those projects has a "Resource Request" Issue type.

Hi, Andrew we've tested it with different Issue types and in different browsers (latest Chrome, IE, FireFox).

We need some additional info, could you please attach screenshots with console view - maybe there we could find the answer ( http://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/8525/how-to-open-the-javascript-console-in-different-browsers )

It would really help if you could also send us JIRA logs, link: https://confluence.atlassian.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=213526227 Please send it to: support.atlassian@tt.com.pl
