Send email to asignee once issue is created

Once the issue is created the notification has to be sent to the asignee with details

    I will report this proposal in our internal system. Could you please specify:

    • what issue do you mean saying once the issue is created - Scheduled Issue or real issue when a Scheduled Issue is fired?
    • what details would you like to see in such notification?

    I meant when the event fired and scheduled item was created the assignee should receive an email with issue name, description and due date. Link to the issue will be helpful as well

    Hi Natalia,

    I investigated the JIRA’s notification feature carefully and its behavior triggered by our plugin. There is to say that our plugin does not affect JIRA’s notification feature configuration and, with other words, notifications are distributed whenever that feature is properly configured (especially the outgoing mail server).

    When a Scheduled Issue is being fired and it creates a standard JIRA issue, then this fact is distributed over configured group of users via e-mail notification. The same happens when an user creates standard JIRA issue from the UI. For both cases the reporter must be different than the assignee. Otherwise a notification is not sent.

    The most important fact, to make e-mail notifications working, is to configure so called Notification scheme for project. In the project administration panel you can find related sections.

    Please check your system settings then.
