No longer can edit scheduled tasks

Issue #164 on hold
Jóhann B. Guðmundsson created an issue

We dont allow reguler users to create schedule tasks and I as an administrator I need to be able to edit every field of an task ( including the creator ) of the task but some recent update broke that behavior and I can no longer get passed the schedule issue details screens which apparently has been filed with notification spam.

Please fix asap and revert whatever change you made since this is an regression.

    Hi Jóhann,

you can still make changes to the scheduled job but you would need to change creator back to you - administrator, as a creator you should be able to see all editable fields - make changes and save them. Then change creator back to your desired user and save changes.

You will still get notifications that picked as a creator user can not make changes to all fields (and those are hidden) but if you made changes earlier as an administrator even if you cant see it those fields are still set.

In your case it looks like it is a bug, but it is fix actually, earlier users who could create scheduled jobs could set fields that they are not allowed to see / edit. Now in the scheduled jobs creator see the same fields as in basic create/edit screens according to permission schemes.

I hope that clears out your issue.

    Best regards

The administrator user making this changes has exactly the same permissions as the "creator" trying to be changed to and I cant just change the creator ( which is what I was trying to do in the first place )

ok, that would be bug :)

Have you updated to latest version 4.3.3 ?

If yes, please try again with refresh page after clearing cache ( or ignoring the cache using ctrl + shift + r in chrome).

If you still can not make changes please make a screenshot with console view open (F12) and please send me logs ( l.modzelewski@tt.com.pl ) for further investigation.
