Inactive users that have created scheduled issues no longer fire automatically

Issue #18 closed
Kris Brunsgaard created an issue

We have an emplooyee who has left, however they had set up many scheduled tasks. Now that their user is inactive the tasks are not firing automatically and show invalid.

There doesn't appear to be be a way to updated who created the task so they will continue to work properly and now we have to manually fire a number of monthly tasks.

We need to be able to edit who created the task or this needs to be somewhere in teh plug-in to make mass assignment changes.

    Hi Kris,

until The Scheduler works as it is designed we cannot treat your issue as a bug. That's why I changed its kind to enhancement. We have already exactly the same enhancement request on our list so it's taken into account. We're working hardly to deliver such feature in upcoming releases.

    Thanks for contacting,

When do you anticipate this will be available?

The issue is drastically effecting our workflow and is forcing me to consider alternative options. This doesn't appear to be a significant issue from a programming perspective to change the creator of a scheduled task so it will fire again.

Please advise as to the time frame.

    Thanks! Kris

    Hi Kris,

the feature allowing to edit all sensitive fields, like the creator, will be rolled out with TSP 3.0.9. I will keep you posted in time.
