    Hi Helmich,

we're totally aware how strategic would be such feature. We were asked about that feature several times and we've discussed it really deeply. There is one technical reason that blocks us from implementing that feature. It's really risky to manage some data storage place where we would need to store attachments for the future usage. It's risky because we're not instance administrators and we cannot guarantee that attachments will live there and be available whenever they will be needed while creating an issue.

    Thanks for contacting, Kind Regards,

    Marek Cendrowicz

You could save the attachments as BLOB's or similar in the database. No need for using separate data storage.

Thank you Jens for your advice, we have it our backlog and I guess we could re-think this through.

We also need to think "how this feature could be used" ... as adding the same attachment might be quite useless (you can always link Scheduled Issues to already existing issue with that needed attachments).

In case of use images you can include them in description: https://bitbucket.org/apdc/the-scheduler/issues/171/pictures-in-schedulded-issues-not

    Best regards,

    Łukasz

Hi Lukasz. I don't want to be forced to create an issue with the attachment and then link to the issue from the Scheduled Issue, just because The Scheduler cannot handle attachments. That really seems like a waste and an unwelcome addition to the working processes of our company. Essentially it reduces the issue containing the attachment to a placeholder, which will have a negative effect on the statistics we run on for example 'issues created'. I really hope you'll be able to find a solution for this... Have a pleasant day.
