Add a Cron expression option for Date fields in Scheduled Issues

We would like to see if you can add a Cron expression on the date fields during scheduled issue creation (see screen shot)

We are hoping that the cron will allow us to only use Business days in the creation and exclude weekends.

    Dear User,

    Sorry for a bit delayed response.

    The Scheduler has predefined variables which at curent version can be used only in the Summary and Description fields. I do not see a possibility to use Cron expression for date-related fields. When such feature will be added you can be notified if you wish.

    Hi there,

    At this point cron expressions are only used in creation of the issue, but you can link due date with creation of another issue or make it dynamic e.g. +2weeks - it would depend on the trigger cron expression - and the date the issue was created.

    Some time ago there was an issue about adding some kind of support for calendars.

    We have it in our backlog and it is on our Roadmap for The Scheduler for JIRA Server.
