Message "Creator of this issue was deleted"

Issue #253 resolved
Former user created an issue

Hello, For existing tasks, when I want to edit them, it doesn't recognize the creator user anymore (error message see attached). This user has been working previously, and I'm not aware of any changes concerning this user. I've double checked the user, it's existing, not disabled and has the "Create issues" permission on the project.

Can you check this?

    Dear User,

    In order to successfuly assist, I need to collect some additional information:

    • Please confirm whether it's a Cloud or Server Version;

    • In case of server version please specify a version of The Scheduler add-on;

    • In case of server version plase inform me what is the database type and its version running on the server;

    • In case of server version - what is the JIRA version and its type (e.g. JIRA Service Desk 3.8.1 on JIRA Server 7.5.0)?

    • The best would be if you could send us html code from the page where this error occurs. (You can download html page by right clicking on page and saving page as html only, or "Ctrl + s", and if it is not available in your browser please google "how save a webpage +YourBrowserName")

    • Please also make a screenshot of that step, with opened browser console (done via pressing F12 in most browsers i.e. Chrome) – if there are red errors visible make them visible on the screenshot.

    • Support ZIP added as an attachment will be highly appreciated - https://confluence.atlassian.com/support/create-a-support-zip-790796819.html - if its size is more than 10 MB then please use some third party file locker to upload it i.e. http://tinyupload.com

    Many thanks, Dominik

    Additional information: Strangely enough, but The Scheduler works fine using this user to create scheduled issues that have been previously been configured. This is evidence that the user and the permissions are correct.

    Dear Daniel,

    I'd be glad if you can answer me, whether a user who was a creator of a Scheduled Issue is able to access the add-on itself (access for such a user to do so, is granted via the Access Manager option).

    Hello, Yes the user is able to access it. I have now added the creator user in the Single Users field and now it works.

    Seems like this is a change in one of the last updates.

    Thanks for the hint (y)
