Scheduled issue in pending state

Issue #284 resolved
Former user created an issue

What does it mean when a scheduled issue is in state pending? It also seems that it has skipped the last planned execution time.

    Dear User,

    "Pending State" means that a scheduled issue waits for a particular time date to be executed, when it reaches it, then an issue is executed.

    Execution of scheduled issue does not necessarily means that a new issue is to be created. I suppose in your case, the problem may be connected with the fact, that you may have selected "Increase priority each time this scheduled issue is created" on the first screen of configuration (it is present here - https://psc-software.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SCHED/pages/2528173/Creation+of+Scheduled+Issue+5.x). By doing so, new issue gets created after a maximum priority is reached of a most recent one, already created Jira issue.

    What I'd like to ask you, is to check whether after manual execution of a scheduled issue, you get a new issue in Jira created (of do you get information about increased priority). To do so please refer to this manual - https://psc-software.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SCHED/pages/2528371/Executing+a+Scheduled+Issue+5.x

    If you are not sure, then after manually executing it, you can make a screenshot and send it to me (the message in the right upper corner of th screen must be visible).

    If possible then I'd be grateful for some additional information:

    • Please confirm whether it's a Cloud or Server Version;

    • In case of server version please specify a version of the add-on;

    • In case of server version please inform me what is the database type and its version running on the server;

    • In case of server version - what is the JIRA version and its type (e.g. JIRA Service Desk 3.8.1 on JIRA Server 7.5.0)?

    Many thanks, Dominik
