Enhanced date variables
We have always used YYYYMM in monthly JIRA issue summaries, however it does not seem to be possible to form that with the current date variables available, as there is no zero-padded ('2' -> '02') month number.
This issue, as well as some others related to date formatting, would probably be most efficiently remedied with a general date formatting function, which would accept a parameter like 'YYYY-MM-DD' or 'YYYYMM' or such. Would this be possible?

Ok,
In the Server version you can use predefined values:
https://bitbucket.org/apdc/the-scheduler/wiki/Predefined%20values%20in%20Summary%20and%20Description
and use it with your desired format like ${createdDate.format("MMYYYY")}:
Cheers,
Łukasz
PS. Consider updating to version 5.1.1 as there are new features available, and new trigger types!

reporter Fantastic, thanks!
Looks like I was indeed looking at the predefined values for the cloud version.
I'll request an update, thanks for the tip!

Hi Aon,
Are you using The Scheduler 5.1.1 for Jira Server ?
or
The Scheduler for Jira Cloud?
Cheers,
Łukasz
