Scheduler cannot assign users

Hi ,

I have created scheduled issues using the scheduler (I am using JIRA Cloud) , i have tried to assign specific issues to specific users however i see all issues created automatically get assigned to the project lead.

I also note that reporter is the 'The scheduler' , could it be that 'The scheduler' is not a valid user and that's why this assigning of users isn't working ?

Any permissions i should be changing for the project to get it to work ?

Hi there,

It might be due that the The Scheduler user in your project configuration doesn't have the assign issue permission.

By default it looks like this:

As for the Project Lead as assignee - probably within your configuration you have Project Lead as a default assignee.
