Working Day feature
Issue #315
new
We need the ability to schedule tasks during the working days only (Mon- Friday). Example In March 2018 some reporting tasks are scheduled for the 5th Working day; Expected outcome: as the month started on Thursday (1st March) the fifth Working Day is on Wed 7th March
Please advice when this functionality will be available within the Scheduler.
Thanks

Is there an update on this issue? I'm happy to clarify the issue further if you come back to me as the original requester is on 12 months leave and is not contactable.
Issue is that we need the ability to schedule tasks as required and to put a future due date as a working day. A working day in Australia is a business day that is work which is typically Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. A working day excludes national public holidays in the calculation.
For example: In Jan 2018 there are; - 31 days in the month; - 23 days (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri) - 21 Working days (Public holidays on 1st Jan & 26th Jan) https://www.officeholidays.com/countries/australia/index.php
Therefore how do we schedule a re-occuring task 2 months in the future with a due date of the 5th working day of the month, when the 5th working day of the month is different each month.
The reason why this is important is that we have a large volume of scheduled task which have a due date of the 5th working day of the month. Currently we either 1) Complete a manual upload each month to overcome this issue; or 2) We use the current functionality of the scheduler and schedule the due date to the 5th of the month. We then go into each ticket which is created and manually move the due date to the 5th working day of the month.
Both these solutions are time consuming and are prone to mistakes especially when you are referring to 100's of tickets each month. The work around we have kind of defeats the purpose of using the scheduler tool.
I would like to see what you can do for us in this instance.
