Scheduled Issues not listed and working since update

Issue #64 closed
Andreas Haaken created an issue

We had around 20 Schedules, which are not listed under the tab in porjects and they were not working anymore.

A Look into the database showed them up, but we have to recreated them all.. Is there a bug at the update?

Hi, we already fixed the problem, but you might find this helpful: The Scheduler doesn´t show the list of schedules, if they reference to an issuetype not present in the project anymore. !!

Steps to reproduce: - create a schedule for a particular type - remove this particular issuetype from type-schema - call list of scheduled issues

This is somewhat esoteric, as most of the users wont´change the schema after project setup, but some do, and the they might think their schedules are gone. But if you try to create another one with the same name of a hidden one, you get a notice, that this isnßt possible..

    hope that helps..

    Hi Andreas,

Thank you for this feedback, it's really helpful. We will test this case and if it possible, will add an extra validation.

    Kindly regards

We have released The Scheduler 3.2.8 on Marketplace. This version contains:

Improved access management and permission control:

    • Schedule Issues are now private by default, only creator and administrator can interact with them
    • Only administrators can modify "Creator" field *Fixed issues when permissions are taken from user that created Scheduled Issue

    New features:

    • Customizable Increase Priority option *Added warning box when one of the triggers can potentially lead to JIRA performance issues

    Bugfixing:

    • Fixed bug when Issue Type is removed from Project Screen
    • Fixed problem with expired license
    • Fixed import issue with duplicated Scheduled Issue names

Your problem was due to removal of Issue Type from Project Screen and it should be fixed in this version.

    Regards
