Could be useful, and not too difficult to implement.

    A reasonably simple implementation would need fully rewriting the automatic positioning of decorations. It possibly would be best to use npc throughout instead of data coordinates.

    Implemented log scales for irradiance that can be used when constructing ggplot objects with ggplot(). This can help until I find time to revise the plot() methods.

    Would be good to get this done before making more progress with the book manuscript. Main task is to change the code that expands the y-scale max limit (would require some effort), and use the ‘npc’ geoms from ‘ggpmisc’ instead of the ones from ‘ggplot2’ based on user data coordinates (rather trivial, and will make the code of autoplot() methods simpler and more reliable.
