Clicking outside of the grid widget does not store the value

If, after you type a value (number or text) you click outside of the grid area, the value is lost.

Not a problem when you have a big table, but for small grids like the one below, it can be an issue.

@Radu Cantor this is the hands on table default behavior - it treats it like clicking on escape on the keyboard - will be very trick to change - I recommend guide the users not to do that
