Special characters encoding to HTML in Text Input cells

I noticed that when you try inputting a special character (e.g., “ double quote) into a table, the character is automatically encoded to HTML (&#34) when it is stored in the cell. The cell looks fine but when you click into it, it will show the HTML encoding instead of the actual character:

    This also occurs in multi line comments where the end user enters a line break for bullet points. line breaks are then encoded as the HTML tag &#10 which causes issues when exporting this to excel. This was raised by our end users.
