Special characters encoding to HTML in Text Input cells

I noticed that when you try inputting a special character (e.g., “ double quote) into a table, the character is automatically encoded to HTML (") when it is stored in the cell. The cell looks fine but when you click into it, it will show the HTML encoding instead of the actual character:

This also occurs in multi line comments where the end user enters a line break for bullet points. line breaks are then encoded as the HTML tag &
#10which causes issues when exporting this to excel. This was raised by our end users. -
