Subset editor and expanding C-Level elements
There appears to be a bug in the new Subset Editor where expanding on C-level elements does not always give the children depending on what other elements are currently shown. Please refer to the example below based on the “Region” dimension of the UX_Demo app:
- If I start by keeping the World element and then expanding each child (i.e., America, Europe, Asia), the hierarchy shows all the correct elements.
* If I click on “All”, the elements show up in the order below. This looks a bit unusual but it is due to the fact that the dimension is not sorted by hierarchy (not a major issue although it would be nice to have the ability to sort by hierarchy similar to the Perspectives subset editor).
* However, if I try collapsing “Europe” not all the elements (i.e., UK) disappear as expected. Furthermore, if I try expanding “Europe” again, nothing happens and I am unable to see the other children of “Europe” unless I click on “All” again.
