Click-to-filter for Heatmap

The click-to-filter feature is useful for graphs but it appears that not all chart types are currently supported. Specifically, it does not work for Heatmaps (perhaps because there are two dimensions to filter?) I remember it had worked in a past version so not sure if this functionality was removed.

Specifically, with the “Hyperlink to change filters” toggled to ON (for both row and column dimensions), I would expect clicking on one of the heatmap boxes to select the Region and Product elements in the global filters. In this example, the screen refreshes (and the widget reloads) when I click, but the setting service does not change the filters:
