Cube viewer does not save alias that have been selected in Native Views

Expected Behaviour

Native views that are saved in the CubeViewer widget are saved with the alias that are being used at the time the view is saved.

To Reproduce:

Using the Apliqo Demo database. Logged in as ADMIN. Select the view General Ledger / P&L. Alias are not set of the Region, Department or the Account dimension.

Use the Subset editor to set the alias to Description for each of the dimension.

Save as the changes to the cube view as TEST x as a Native View. The dimension will review back to the Principal Name. After saving the cube view does not show the selected Alias. This is confirmed by looking at the save view in Architect.

This is not the case for the Period dimension. The original view has the period dimension set to the alias Short Description. Change this dimension’s alias to the Principal Name and saving the view does not change the setting for the period dimension in Architect. It remain set to Short Description.

The conclusion is the Attribute setting of the dimension is not set when saving the view as a Native View. This does work for views save as an MDX expression.
