Snippet editor does not show "pin" icon on active snippet

When there is more than one page of snippets, the “pin” icon does not show up next to the active snippet in the left navigation panel when you open through the widget toolbar icon. Namely, if the snippet requires scrolling down to get to, the active “pin” icon disappears which makes it difficult to identify the snippet.

Interesting, if you double-click on the name in the left navigation panel (assuming you remember the name), the icon will show up:
