Folders in view menu

I have an app with folders (in this case Input and Reports). When on the screen there’s a view from e.g. Reports and I click on the app I see that the menu is presented with the expanded folder containing the view:

This is fine.

However, when I then hover over Input folder the content of the Reports folder doesn’t collapse and it stays on the screen. This doesn’t look nice and IMO it should be collapsed when I want to see the content of another folder. Please see below:
