Active Element Highlight in Charts

This is a nice feature in Power BI (or similar tools) and would be great to have it in UX. Similar to “active row highlight” feature in the grid, we could have the selected element (clicked element in the table like below image) highlighted in the chart. Enabling/disabling data label properties of the highlighted element is a plus.
