Picklist not selectable

The picklist working in arc and everything else except in UX, which a name without space appears with a space at the end, like "Patty Yang " in UX instead of "Patty Yang" in arc.

Note that while all elements have no space at the end, only some of them are not selectable in UX. For unknown reasons, some elements appear with a space character in UX and those are not selectable.

Hi Anthony,

TM1’s behaviour is to automatically trim spaces on insert, so usually whether there is leading or trailing space or not it would be interpreted the same. So are you sure it is a normal space (char 32) or is it a nb space (char 255)? Any are you sure it is not coming from the selected attribute of the picklist subset?

This is the first report of this issue. To progress further we would need a reproducible test case from you. (the dimension + subset used in the picklist and a input cube with picklist defined. All the TM1 objects needed to reproduce the issue. A export of a form in UX for the data entry isn’t needed in this case as that is a quick simple thing for us to do.)

I am not quite sure if I miss somewhere else that I can check whether the element has no space included. The Arc and Architect are both showing element without a space at the end. I can provide the TM1 objects as indicated above.

If you can provide the Employee dimension (including subsets) and the input cube that is needed to replicate the issue then that is what we need.

Okay I’m sorry. I further had a look on the logic and realise it has a rule saying First name + space + Last name, and those who have issues are those with last name empty, so this is something I can change to avoid. Thanks!
