Static Picklist in Grid with Whitespace

A picklist created in a picklist cube with ‘static: Yes : No:’ cannot be seleted in a View whereas ‘static:Yes:No’ works perfectly fine. The preceeding whitespace appears to be an issue

Well … why would you define a picklist as ‘static: Yes : No:'? The correct syntax is ‘static:Yes:No'

Agree, but it has always been irrelevant in all front ends up to now - the actual error was hidden in a rather long list like below where there was a trailing space after one of the colons. I don't think it is a reach to suggest others would include whitespaces before or after colons (or tabs even) to indent a picklist.

The fix/workaround was simple once we identified the issue, it just took a bit of digging (hint the error was on Melbourne!)

OK if it works in other UIs then it should also work in UX.

The example seems to be a perfect case for a dimension or subset picklist though! ;-)

Agree - you know I think this is the only complete list of physical locations, we should probably have that in something somewhere (everything else is department or region)
