Pinyin input method does not work well on picklist

Hi Team,

The Pinyin input method is pretty popular in Mainland China, but users can not use it to search for data on the filter and picklist.
The issue is from the search bar’s behavior because the Pinyin input method is using the English alphabet to get a Chinese word.
For example,
A user who would like to search “Shi“ in Chinese is 是
but when the user input “s“, and the items in the dropdown list include the “s” word, then the Pinyin input process will be broken, and return the list that includes the “s“ word.
So it is hard to use Pinyin to search for Chinese words in the UX dropdown.
Can we disable the auto search in the search bar until the user press “enter“?

as explained on our call, the dropdown component we use is controlled by a 3rd party as this option is not available at the moment
