Users encountering issues accessing Apliqo UI

Issue #718 resolved
Evan McKirdy created an issue

Users have cited issues accessing Apliqo after recent upgrade to 2023.05 FP1. Multiple different teams across the board have cited issues where clearing cache and switching browsers not working for them. Some users are even having to restart their computers to get back on with access. Sometimes that does not work either. We have multiple servers and this is only happening across one server in our content store. Please advise.

Hi Evan, as I mentioned in my email it would be good to arrange a call to see what is happening and discuss this in more details. Thanks, Ada

Nice to meet you Ada, & Tomer, Thank you for today’s meeting.

I met with David Shank in GTS group who had an issue yesterday.

People are given editor access to TM1 bridging tool typically at manager level which includes their direct reports.

Here is some more information about the problem he had. There was a reorg yesterday; his manager changed positions leaving David & others without access.

    1. I went to our permissions page & gave him direct access https://permissions.amazon.com/a/team/WWOps-TM1-GDS-Editors.
    2. David waited over 20 minutes
    3. On Firefox, he reloaded the browser and no editor access. He did not close his Firefox browser or clear his cache first .
    4. David then went to Chrome to access TM1 tool, no editor access
    5. He cleared his Chrome cache , closed & reopened Chrome browser & then he did have edit access.
    6. He went back into Firefox, reloaded , & he did have edit access.
    7. He did not clear his Firefox cache first.

David is willing to work with this team to problem solve for any further issues he has accessing TM1 tool. I will let you know when this happens & send an email and/or meeting request.

    Thanks!

Hi Evan & John, I'm changing the status as we currently cannot reproduce the issue, and are waiting for further details to proceed. If there is any new update from you side, please let us know. Thanks, Ada

    Hi Ada,

Yes, I’m ok with changing status. We did the same on internal ticket.

I’ve had no known issues since our meeting. Thanks, John

Infra team restarted service late last week and I also updated access to homepage's for individual users citing issues. Since then, spoken with several stakeholder whom are no longer experiencing any access issues with Apliqo. Can reopen ticket if issues persist.
