Leading 0s cause issue in DBRW

I have created a dimension with IDs containing leading 0s, when I add DBRW formula to reference it, my formula wouldn’t render, later I found out that apliqo is treating the field I’m referencing as number (last column) even though it’s showing up with leading 0s (Property ID Mapping column). because the IDs are always going to be five digits, I’m able to TEXT formula, I’m wondering is this a bug or a setting I can do some where doesn’t auto treat fields as number.
