Master Widget (Columns) Suppression

There’s an issue with column suppression when using a grid as the Master Widget (Columns). I have Grid A which I’m using to display string measures in 1 period. Grid A does not have any suppression. I have Grid B which I’m using to show the periods that are selected. Grid B has suppress on columns. I have grid C which has the Master Widget (Rows) set to Grid A and the Master Widget (Columns) set to Grid B.

The issue with this setup is that Grid A and Grid B displays the rows and columns correctly. However, in Grid C, if there is data outside of the columns that are displayed in Grid B, they will appear in Grid C. For example, let’s say Grid B has periods May 2024 - Dec 2024 selected. In Grid C, let’s say that there’s data in Apr 2024. in the resulting grid, the periods that display are Apr 2024 - Dec 2024 when it should be May 2024 - Dec 2024.

although technically its possible to select master widget for rows and columns -

it is not supported - you can only use the master widget for rows / columns - combining them together might have other side effects and features which will not work.
