Media file uploader not showing the preview

The media file uploader doesn’t always load the preview. This happens especially with PDF files.

After clicking upload, even though the file is uploaded to the server and the path is stored in the cube, the widget won’t refresh.

This behavior happens sometimes when the dashboard is loading for the first time.
