Earth View does not render properly in Mercator mode

Something when we switch into mercator mode, the view is not rendered properly (strange orbit curves, lines). Furthermore, if we propagate for a long period (e.g. 1 day), the swath, and orbits are not rendered properly.
To reproduce the problem:

1. Open ca.gc.asc_csa.apogy.examples.satellite.apogy/sessions/radarsat2.sym
2. Open the Earth View
3. Select and display the Default Earth View Configuration defined in Tools.
