Cannot drag selected text when extension enabled

number of ways, but for last two you will need version 4.9 that has some fixes, will be released soon.

In the preferences enable ‘keep selection after action taken', when popup will come up select 'copy’ as a fake action; then you can drag selection
when popup come up drag mouse over it; popup will disappear after 1 sec, then you can drag your selection
enable 'unobtrusive mode' - instead of popup you will get small transparent button (popup will appear if you will point on this button); you can drag selection immediately
