This utility, named NT Objects or short: ntobjx, can be used to explore the Windows object manager namespace.
The GUI should be self-explanatory for the most part, especially if you have ever used Windows Explorer. If you have already used WinObj by Microsoft, you will even recognize many of the names.
How to build
- WinObj the original program from SysInternals (meanwhile a division of Microsoft).
- Object Manager Namespace Viewer a tool I cowrote with Marcel van Brakel in Delphi some years back in order to showcase the JEDI API header translations for the NT native API.
- ObjectManagerBrowser only found out about this by accident in June 2017. Referenced here so evidently around since at least 2014.
