Can't talk-to Gertrude without NPC ID (Gertrude's cat quest)

As the title says. Neither interaction nor special interaction work, while they do on the child in the same house. I have name checked 20 times. Adding the NPC ID (780) to the interaction node fixes this issue, but should work without it right.
